The good news is acreages are coming back into the buyers minds as we’re seeing showings as well as a few sales in the past 6 weeks. Carstairs keeps setting home sales records with 119 properties in town sold in 2013. That’s the highest volume in all past records. The average selling price was $301,571.
Didsbury has been lagging a bit with 89 year to date sales, but at least the phones are ringing and buyers are starting to have a look. The Didsbury average selling price was $ 257,984 Didsburys best selling year was 130 homes back in 2008 with an average selling price of $ 272,677. Year to date 2014, sales are a bit ahead of last year so its nice to have the phones ringing.
If your interested in listing your home, please call and I’ll prepare a competative market analysis for you to see where your home should be priced.
